James Stover Directs Play at Glacity Theatre Collective

James StoverGlacity Theatre Collective will present the world premiere of Wilkes, a contemporary play by James Stover about the assassination of Abraham Lincoln told from the perspective of Davey Herold, a friend of John Wilkes Booth who became one of his co-conspirators when Booth killed Lincoln at Ford’s Theatre in April, 1865.

Stover, who teaches acting and musical theater at Purdue University Fort Wayne and acted professionally for 15 years in New York and  in regional theaters across the country, is directing Wilkes performances here. Read the Toledo Blade Article
